You’ll have to be buzzed into this private bar. Climb up steep steps and out of the hubbub of Hong Kong. Sense 99 is an underground live music venue and chill-out lounge, open only on weekends or for special occasions and the odd craft fair. Set in a pre-war building, the first floor has high ceilings and original tiled floors and a small outdoor terrace overlooks the street.
Mismatched vintage leather chairs and revolving artwork makes the place feel like a friend’s living room. Musicians jam on the second floor where a drum kit and guitars lie in wait.
