The café next to Broadway Cinematheque is worth a visit in its own right. Enjoy delicious, fairtrade and organic food, while sat amongst quirky art, design and film books to make the most hardened art snob drool. The niche Canto-culture on display reels in the HK art crowd but tends towards Chinese and Cantonese speakers.
The interesting evening events may extend into English language soon, but we don’t really mind if they don’t – this is underground, indie culture, brilliant in any language. Just have another slice of cake and look at the pictures.
