Tatsu, a traditional Japanese restaurant, on the ground floor of Sino Plaza, is considered the real deal and most authentic in Hong Kong. Your wallet will be feeling the strain at dinner but at lunch a set menu from HK$90 upwards is a value feast.
Take your shoes off at the door and sit at traditional low tables with leg space cut into the floor. There are only six or seven tables and the dark wooden décor and low lighting provides an atmosphere of expensive calm. Booking is recommended.
