A piece of old England in Central Hong Kong, visit the bowling green in Victoria park, opposite the swimming pool, for a spot of Crown Bowls. Step out at Tin Hau MTR station (Exit A2) to visit Victoria Park and Hong Kong’s oldest public green.
Things have changed a little since its hey day, apart from the lawn itself which, due to Hong Kong’s tropical climate, have been replaced with a low maintenance plastic substitute. With the shaded seating, this is a lovely spot to relax or take a picnic away from the crowds.
