You could pay to go up the Peak to see Hong Kong like every other tourist, or you could be a little more inventive and save your pocket. Stroll inside the circular Hopewell Centre and hop inside the outdoor lift. You will then chug slowly up 57 floors and enjoy spectacular views in your own private viewing station.
You’ll feel like you’re on the roof of Hong Kong, for free and as often as you want – or until a bemused security guard escorts you out. This is a little treasure to be experienced in varying weather, at different times of day and in every season for a snapshot of Hong Kong.
