Arts enthusiasts should take note of Horse Bazaar. Located in Little Lonsdale St in the CBD, this bar features a 20-metre wrap-around video projection along its back walls and showcases music, art and, of course, video installations. The range of music featured here is very broad; you could walk in to hear an ear-splitting ‘experimental’ jazz band or a DJ spinning classic dance tunes.
With four beers on tap and a variety of other beers, cocktails and wines on offer, this is a great place to come to have an inebriated dance. Cheap alcohol (including $2.50 pots) is available during the happy hours of 1pm–2pm and 4pm–7pm on weekdays. Horse Bazaar is open from 7am till late Monday to Thursday, 7am till 3am on Fridays and from 6pm till 3am on Saturdays.
