Grumpy’s Green is new on the scene in Fitzroy, and it’s taking a stance. Sustainability is key at this rad pad, and everything possible is done to offset their carbon footprint from using rainwater to flush the toilets, to selecting locally grown ingredients for their vegetarian menu. The food is so yummy it will make you drool because it’s all healthy and there are many gluten-free options available, including gluten-free beer! Even the alcohol is all from Victoria, and the selection is vast!
On Tuesdays, all flatbread pizzas are $7, and nothing goes better with pizza than beer. Try Grumpy’s draft (brewed 3 kilometers away), or a bottle of 3 Ravens Dark Smoke (10 k).
