If slow restaurant service is one of your pet hates, stop reading now. You will not want to visit Warwick Thai. This enormous restaurant on Sydney Rd boasts very cheap and tasty Thai food, but you may have to wait an hour (sometimes even two) to get it. However, if you’re the type who couldn’t care less about hanging around for a meal, this restaurant is worth a visit. Entrees range from $5.80–$12.80 and mains are priced between $12.80 and $16.50 for absolutely enormous servings.
Unfortunately, there’s a minimum charge of $15 per person, which means that there will almost certainly be food left over as it’s almost physically impossible to consume the amount of food that $15 will buy at Warwick Thai. This place is very noisy when it’s busy, but it gets extra points for the beautiful building in which it’s housed.
